LOWELL | The Lowell Police Department Community Policing schedule covers a wide range of topics from bullying, to self-defense for women.

All events will be held at 6 p.m. at the Lowell Public Library, 1505 E. Commercial Ave.

Scheduled topics and dates are: Bullying Awareness for Parents on April 15; Online Fraud and Financial Crimes against the Elderly, May 14; Drug Awareness for Parents of Students, June 3; Women’s Self-Defense, July date to be announced; Weapons Safety Course, Sept. 16; and Halloween Safety, Oct. 28.

The department will also observe National Night Out from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 6.
