A NOTE FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT…….

We have had yet another successful year in the Lowell Parks

Department. We offer a variety of programs and events for the community!

Soccer remains our largest program and again we hosted the

Challenger British Soccer Camp for one week this year as well as the MiniKickers program.

Our tree count at Freedom Park is still growing.

Most trees are doing quite well and finally producing shade.

The Freedom Brick Walk is established and continues to grow. Many thanks to Touch of Grass for their construction and landscaping…it looks beautiful!

Disc golf is in and a work in progress!

40 acres were seeded North of the entrance and is a great spot for flying a kite or throwing a football around!

One-half mile of gravel path has been laid and also is a work in progress.

Thank you to Scout Master Tim Miller and the

Eagle Boy Scouts of Troop 356 for the beautiful

birdhouses and benches! Thank you to the Three Creeks Historical

Preservation group for the gorgeous park bench and to the

Lowell Masons who installed it!

Our parks in town are well groomed and upgraded thanks to the Street Dept.

A big kudos to those who voluntarily help pick up in the parks!

From all of us to all of you, thank you for all your support, keep

enjoying our parks and programs.

Respectfully: Tom Sullivan/Superintendent of Parks
