LOWELL | The Guidance Department of Lowell High School will conduct a parent financial aid meeting on at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
The meeting will be held in the auditorium at Lowell High School, 2051 E. Commercial Ave. Students and parents should park in the south parking lot and enter the building through the Entrance 1.
All federal, state, and local types of financial assistance will be discussed.
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) will be discussed at the meeting and suggestions for completing the form will be offered. A representative from Purdue University Calumet will be present to explain the FAFSA and other types of financial assistance including student loans.
All high school seniors who are considering college, trade or technical schools for the fall of 2013, and their parents, are encouraged to attend this meeting. Juniors and their parents will also benefit from attending this important session.
