LOWELL | First United Methodist Church presents a recital by church organist David Schoon at 3 p.m. Sunday at the church, 520 E. Commercial Ave.
Schoon is a retired high school science teacher who earned a degree in church music with distinction from Valparaiso University. The recital is given in memory of Schoon's instructor at Indiana University, Oswald G. Regatz.
A freewill offering will be taken to maintain the organ.
