LOWELL | The town wants to know what residents think about biking conditions in this south Lake County community.

An Active Transportation Plan community meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Nov. 5 at Lowell Town Hall, 501 E. Main Street to gain input.

Specifically, information is wanted on how residents believe they could be helped to access destinations by bicycle, jogging and walking as well as ways to feel safer while doing so.

The data gathered will help the town strategize improvements for biking and walking in Lowell.

Those who cannot attend may contact coordinator Leslie Phemister at leslie@activetrans.org or (708)798-0788 or take an online survey at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/lowellbikeplan.
