Reservations for tractor drawn hayrides are offered by the Lake County Parks and Recreation Department at Lemon Lake, Stoney Run, Oak Ridge Prairie, Deep River, and Buckley Homestead county parks in September and October.

The maximum number per ride is 25 adults (more if mostly children). Call (219) 947-7275 to make a group reservation.

The cost is $100 per ride on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and holidays, and $75 per ride Monday through Thursday, with horse-drawn hayrides available only at Buckley Homestead for $125 per ride (only during daylight hours).

Special Needs hayrides are available at Oak Ridge Prairie during daylight hours. The hay wagon is able to carry people in wheelchairs. Regular prices apply. Time and day of reservations are dependent upon availability of driver.
