LOWELL | Harvest Tyme Pumpkin Patch will celebrate Hometown Heroes Weekend from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

The Sickinger family says it wants to honor those whose service ensures the safety of families and protects the country's freedom.

Each Hometown Hero — police, firefighters and active and retired military — and a guest will receive complementary passes for unlimited access to the Patch's attractions, including the 3-acre corn maze.

It is opening weekend for the seasonal spot, so all are welcome at 17904 Grant Street ( Ind. 55), Lowell.
