LOWELL | A joint work session among town councilmen, Volunteer Fire Department representatives and the Tri-Creek township trustees is set for 7 p.m. Tuesday at Town Hall, 510 E. Main St.

The topic will be staffing and equipment needs for the Lowell Volunteer Fire Department, which serves Cedar Creek, Eagle Creek and West Creek townships.

The Lowell Town Council has been discussing its interest in increasing the number of firefighters to address daytime responder shortages.
