LOWELL | The Lowell Police Department is seeking applicants for full-time police officer positions.

Eligible candidates must be between 21 and 36 years old at the time of appointment, be a U.S. citizen and have no felony convictions.

Candidates also must have good moral character and a high school diploma or equivalent. Candidates must pass a physical fitness evaluation, written test and extensive background investigation.

Interested applicants must attend an orientation at Lowell Town Hall, 501 E. Main St., at 4 p.m. June 29.
