LOWELL | The Town Council wants to reach residents who may qualify to have damaged sidewalks in front of their homes repaired or replaced.

Property owners must meet low- to moderate-income guidelines for the work to be funded through a block grant.

While the information and necessary form are posted online at www.lowell.net, the town recognizes some residents may not have access to complete the form digitally. For that reason, residents may come to Lowell Town Hall, 501 E. Main St., and receive a form at the front counter.

The personal information required on the form will not be shared.

Typical sidewalk issues that impede safe pedestrian traffic include excessive cracking, missing sections and those that are uneven.

For more information, contact the ADA coordinator at (219) 696-7794.
