LOWELL | Lowell High School was on lockdown Tuesday for a random drug search that covered all lockers and the south parking lot.
Tri-Creek School Corp. Assistant Superintendent Nathan Kleefisch said there were no drugs found in the coordinated search by the Lake County sheriff's police, Lowell police and school officials.
There were six police dogs involved.
The lockdown began at 10:05 a.m. and ended about an hour later, Kleefisch said. It was the first such random search of the year, he said.
