LOWELL | The Northwest Indiana House Raffle home tour will begin at noon today in the Spring Run subdivision in Lowell.
The new home, called the Baybridge, was built by Phillippe Builders and is a two-story, three-bedroom house with a two-car garage.
Ticket buyers and prospective ticket buyers may walk through the house, 17841 Oak Park Lane, from noon to 6 p.m. today and Sunday and from noon to 6 p.m. July 20 and 21.
The Baybridge is the only house in this year's home tour and the only house the grand-prize winner may choose.
The house comes with an additional $50,100 in cash, for a value of $280,000 based on the home builder's estimates.
If the winner chooses the home, a formal appraisal will be conducted to determine its value.
The winner also may opt for the $225,000 cash prize.
The Times Media Co. and the NWI House Raffle will co-host the Home Tour and House Raffle.

The raffle also offers 75 cash prizes, a list of which is available online at www.nwihouseraffle.org.
