LOWELL | The Lowell High School Guidance Department will conduct a Parent Financial Aid Meeting at 6:30 p.m. today in the school auditorium, 1505 E. Commercial Ave. Students and parents should park in the south parking lot and enter through Entrance 1.

All federal, state, and local types of financial assistance will be discussed. Tanika House of Purdue University Calumet will be present to explain the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and other types of financial assistance, including student loans. Suggestions for completing the FAFSA will be given.

The program is open to all high school students and parents. However, seniors who are considering college, trade or technical schools for the fall of 2014, and their parents, are especially encouraged to attend.
