LOWELL | The Tri-Creek School Board is expected to name the next principal of Lowell High School when it meets in special session at 7:30 a.m. Thursday.
Superintendent Debra Howe will make her recommendation for the position. The person selected will begin July 1.
Michael Chelap, who had been assistant principal at the school, is serving as the interim principal. The position became vacant in August with departure of Adrian Richie.
There are no other items on Thursday's agenda.
