LOWELL | Money donated to the Tri-Creek Education Foundation will count for more during the Endowment Fund Builder Challenge Campaign.
The Tri-Creek Education Foundation is participating in the campaign in connection with Crown Point Community Foundation and Dean and Barbara White.
For every $1 donated, Tri-Creek Education Foundation will receive one $1 and Crown Point Community Foundation will receive $1 in the matching grant opportunity.
To date, Tri-Creek Education Foundation has raised more than $500,000. Of that, more than $134,000 was endowed, $126,000-plus in scholarships was awarded, more than $161,000 went to specific student programs and in excess of $78,000 in grants went to the classrooms. All this benefited more than 23,000 Tri-Creek students.
TCEF's Lynn Bochart said now is the time to make a donation so the endowment can be maximized.
