LOWELL | The Tri-Creek School Board has reached "outstanding" status.
The board has completed the requirements necessary to achieve "outstanding" status as outlined in the Indiana School Board Association's certification/awards program.
The board will be recognized next month during the ISBA Spring Regional Meeting.
While another level or two of achievement are possible, board member Michelle Dumbsky said the board reaches those goals possible within its budget. It does not travel to costly conferences and meetings and, therefore, is not eligible for certain points from those.
