Our Town of Lowell is located in South Lake County. State Road 2 which runs through the middle of town connects us to I-65 to the east and US 41 to the west.

We are a proud farm community and we are growing at a steady rate. There has been a steady growth in our residential and commercial building this year.

We offer affordable living for residents of all ages – from first time home buyers to retirees. Lowell maintains its small town charm, but is only 50 miles from downtown Chicago.

The Tri-Creek School Corporation offers a great future for the youth of the community and Friday night football is a source of both pride and entertainment.

The Lowell Labor Day Parade has the distinction of being the longest continuous running parade in Indiana. This year’s celebration begins on Friday, August 30, continues for the Sunday night fireworks show and ends with the Parade on Monday. Sept 2 at 10:00 a.m.

I am proud to call Lowell my home.

Sincerely,

Edgar Corns

Lowell Town Council President
