Antiques will fill fairgrounds building for weekend show
Crossroads Regional Chamber of Commerce presents its Spring Antiques Show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday in the Industrial Arts Building at the Lake County Fairgrounds, 889 S. Court St., Crown Point.
More than 40 vendors will be on hand showcasing and selling antiques and collectibles.
Business Before Hours
Cherry Tree Café and Restaurant invites the public to join them from 8 to 10 a.m. Tuesday for Business Before Hours, with a ribbon cutting at 8:30 to celebrate the opening of the new restaurant, serving breakfast and lunch, at 1312 N. Main St., Crown Point. Refreshments will be provided.
Jobs and economic development
The Rail Summit will be held March 16 at Sand Creek Country Club in Chesterton. Keynote speakers include Paul Fisher, president & CEO of CenterPoint Properties and winner of IANA's Intermodal Achievement Award, along with John Vickerman, president of Vickerman & Associates LLC, an expert on the Panama Canal's expansion for the Calumet Region.

St Patrick's Day Parade
The St. Patrick's Day Parade is a growing tradition in Crown Point. Come and join Mayor Dave Uran and friends for Northern Indiana's largest night time St. Patrick's Day Parade at dusk March 17 on the Crown Point Square.

Under One Roof
The art exhibit "Under One Roof" is on display until March 22 at the Indiana Welcome Center, 7770 Corinne Ave., Hammond.
Partners in life, if not art, accomplished regional artists exhibit contrasting and complimentary bodies of work in this Lubeznik Center exhibition at the Indiana Welcome Center. Comprehensive and thought-provoking, 14 couples from across the region offer insight into their artistic processes and partnerships. The Indiana Welcome Center is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
Abundant Blessings
Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church and School in Crown Point will hold "A Night of Abundant Blessings" on March 23 at Avalon Manor, 3550 E. U.S. 30, Hobart.
