MERRILLVILLE | The Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges has presented Everest College Merrillville with a 2012-13 ACCSC School of Distinction Award.
The ACCSC, an organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as an authority on educational standards, noted Everest College's dedication to the expectations and rigors of accreditation, as well as a commitment to delivering quality education programs.
Out of a pool of 170 eligible schools, 21 were named Schools of Distinction.
“Our faculty, staff and students work very hard to make our campus a place where quality education leads to successful careers,” said James Troisi, president of Everest College Merrillville. “This recognition from the ACCSC is a highly regarded stamp of approval from this leader in career education.”
As a School of Distinction, Everest College Merrillville will be honored during the Professional Development Conference, which runs Sept. 11-13 in Washington D.C.
