MERRILLVILLE | The FBI is seeking the public's help in locating a Latin Kings gang member under federal indictment on multiple drug conspiracy charges.

Paulina "Chino" Salazar was indicted in November 2011 in federal court in Hammond.

Salazar is a Hispanic male, 5 feet 10 inches tall weighing 220 pounds with a shaved head and brown eyes. The FBI said he has been seen driving a dark Chrysler Sebring and a white Chevrolet Tahoe.

Officials said he is known to frequent Whiting and East Chicago and has been seen in the areas of 101st Street and Avenue M and 83rd Street and Baker Avenue.

The FBI said Salazar is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached by anyone other than members of law enforcement.

Officials are asking anyone with information on Salazar's whereabouts to contact their local police department of the FBI's Merrillville office at (219) 769-3719.
