MERRILLVILLE | The Foundation for Molecular Medicine in Crown Point will host its annual health and wellness expo Friday and Saturday at the Radisson Hotel at Star Plaza, 800 E. 81st Ave.
The event will include exhibitors, demonstrations, health screenings and presentations.
Friday's activities run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The expo includes a 10 a.m. pitching clinic with Tim Holmes, an 11 a.m. Zumba class and a 3 p.m. yoga class.
On Saturday, the expo will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Events include a noon discussion about nutrition and a 1 p.m. presentation by Indiana Ballet Theatre.
Two-time Olympian Brian Hansen will be a VIP guest from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
The expo is a fundraising event to support the work of the Foundation for Molecular Medicine, which is a nonprofit organization that focuses on cancer research, early detection and education on health and wellness programs that prevent cancer and other degenerative diseases.
The expo fee is $4, which is discounted by half with a coupon obtained from the website, www.ffmm.org.
