MERRILLVILLE | The law firm of Church Church Hittle & Antrim has joined forces with Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller, the Indiana State Bar Association and Feeding Indiana’s Hungry for the sixth annual March Against Hunger Food Drive.
Donations may include nonperishable food, such as macaroni, cereal, canned goods, 100 percent juices, soups and raviolis. Direct monetary contributions may also be made.
Food donations will be transported to and weighed at the local food bank. Merrillville donations will be used at the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana, Gary. Donations to the Fishers, Noblesville and Tipton offices will go to Gleaner’s Food Bank of Indiana.
The public may drop off donations from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays at the CCHA Merrillville Office, 290-B 90th Drive. The phone number is (219) 525-4465.
“Last year, the March Against Hunger raised 10,065 pounds of food and $55,455 - which represents 143 tons of food,” said senior partner Doug Church. “Everyone is hoping 2014 is an even bigger year.”
