MERRILLVILLE | All educators in areas where Centier Bank has a presence are invited to attend the free ninth annual Financial Literacy Fair for Educators.

It's from 8:30 a.m to 3 p.m. Oct. 9 at Centier's Corporate Centre

To register or to receive more information, email Financial Capabilities Officer Dian Reyome at dreyome@centier.com. Space is limited to 100 attendees.

Teachers will receive financial literacy materials that can be implemented directly in their classrooms and have been correlated to state standards. The first 10 schools to register will receive a $50 check at the conclusion of the fair to help subsidize the cost of a substitute teacher on the day of the fair.

Materials were designed to be interesting, easy to follow and valuable to educators. All will leave with free financial capability materials that can be taught to  students or clients. Each presentation will conclude with a question-and-answer segment, and the day will also offer opportunities for one-on-one discussions.
