MERRILLVILLE | The Saints Constantine & Helen Greek Church will be hosting its 45th annual Grecian Festival on the Church grounds on July 11, 12, 13. Festivities include kiddy carnival/games and Greek music, dancing, market place, and pastries. Generous portions of roasted lamb, shish-ka-bob, Grecian chicken, Gyros and our award winning “Greek Potatoes” await your appetite in our air-conditioned Great Hall.
Whether making new friends or getting reacquainted with old friends, the outside beer garden is a perfect setting for your outdoor enjoyment. Free parking, admission and entertainment are provided. The Hellenic dancers will perform each night at 6:30-8 p.m. Live entertainment by “Monterrey” is on tap for Friday night while “Pawnz” will take the stage on Saturday. “Ormi” will take the stage on Sunday.
Wrist Band Day on Saturday and Sunday provides unlimited kiddy rides from 1 – 5 p.m. for $15. Free Church tours of the Cathedral will be provided at 7 p.m. each day. The Church grounds are located 1 block south of Rt-30 (1 mile west of I-65) on 8000 Madison Street in Merrillville.
