MUNSTER | Police released surveillance video photos Thursday of a man believed to have robbed the local Chase bank Wednesday evening.
According to police, a man entered the bank at 545 Ridge Road around 5 p.m. wearing a surgical mask and gloves. He waited in line then approached a teller and asked for the money in her drawer.
The teller complied and the suspect left the bank without further incident, police said. No weapon was displayed.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s standing about 5 feet 6 inches tall with a thin build, wearing a black baseball cap, gray sweatshirt and blue jeans in addition to the surgical mask and gloves.
He was last seen getting into a two-door Honda Accord, which was either black or dark blue, police said.
