MUNSTER | The Chase bank on Ridge Road in Munster was robbed about 5 p.m. Wednesday, according to Munster police.
A thin white male in his late teens or early twenties walked into the bank, demanded money, and walked out, said Sgt. Steve Kovacik.
The man didn't show a weapon and it's not clear if he implied that he had a weapon or used a note to convey his demand to the teller, Kovacik said.
The man was wearing a gray hoodie, had a black stocking cap pulled over his face, stood about 5-foot-6-inches tall and didn't have any facial hair, Kovacik said.
Nobody was hurt during the incident and police aren't sure how much the man left with, Kovacik said.
Officers are waiting for the company to provide security tapes and police hope to release a photo of the man on Thursday.
