MUNSTER | Hal Linden, jazz musician and star of Broadway and television shows, will present a program of classic tunes, stories and nostalgia at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Munster High School Auditorium, 8808 Columbia Ave.
Single tickets will be available on the night of the performance for $25. Linden is best known for his portrayal of the police precinct captain in the hit television series “Barney Miller,” for which he earned multiple Golden Globe and Emmy nominations. In 1957, he made his Broadway debut in the musical “Bells Are Ringing” opposite Judy Holliday, and has performed in more than 20 Broadway and off-Broadway productions.
An accomplished jazz clarinetist and vocalist, Linden is backed by a seven-piece band performing America’s classic songs.
The Northwest Indiana Concert Association has been presenting concerts to the community since 1947.
