MUNSTER | Cancer Resource Centre, 926 Ridge Road, offers free education programs, mind/body/spirit programs and support groups for those with a cancer diagnosis and their caregivers. Call (219) 836-3349 to register for programs.

Yoga, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday and 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday — Breathe and stretch your body and mind fr stress management. A prescription from your physician is required prior to attending.

Cancercare webcast, 12:30-1:30 p.m. Monday — Understanding treatment-related rash and dry skin.

Empowerment Drumming, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Monday — Can reduce stress, increase energy and well-being. A prescription from your physician is required prior to attending.

Breast Cancer Support Group, 6:30-8 p.m. Monday — All women with a breast cancer diagnosis, newly diagnosed to long-term survivors, are welcome to share their concerns, stories and experiences.

Wellness Support Group, 10-11:30 a.m. or 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday — Provides an opportunity to share feelings, receive support and learn ways to cope with the experience of having cancer.

Look Good. . .Feel Better, 2-4 p.m. Tuesday — Sponsored by the American Cancer Society, women undergoing radiation or chemotherapy can restore appearance and self-image during treatment. Seating is limited.

Blood Cancers Support Group, 6-7 p.m. Tuesday  — Open to all cancer patients, Milennium The Takeda Oncology Company ambassador will explain lab and pathology results so patients have a better understanding of what they mean.

Chair Massage, 10-11:30 a.m. Wednesday — Enjoy the benefits of a 20-minute chair massage to relax the body, reduce mental stress, anxiety and may promote better sleep. A prescription from a physician is required prior to attending.

Healing Touch, 1 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday — Hands-on, energy-based techniques balance and align human energy field. A prescription from a physician is required prior to attending.

Healing Hearts Grief Support Group, 1:30-3 p.m. Wednesday — Facilitated by Dorothy Poma of Hospice of the Calumet Area, join others who have lost a loved one to share experiences, struggles, feelings and triumphs.

Chi Gong, 9:30-10:30 a.m. May 22 — Learn the art of breath, movement, non-movement and meditation. A prescription from your physician is required prior to attending.

Knit One…Nurture Too, 1-2:30 p.m. May 22 — Knitting and crocheting squares, scarves or afghan blankets. All skill levels welcome. Supplies provided, or bring your own.

Chair Yoga, 2 to 3 p.m. May 22 — Designed for those who have difficulty with the regular yoga environment, sit or use a chair for balance. A prescription from your physician is required prior to attending.

Tai Chi, 9:30-10:30 a.m. May 23 — Classes emphasize balance, posture, breathing techniques, concentration and complete relaxation. A prescription from your physician is required prior to attending.
