MUNSTER | Franc D’Ambrosio, famed as “the world’s longest-running Phantom (of the Opera),” brings the stage to life at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Munster High School Auditorium, 8808 Columbia Ave. Single tickets will be available on the night of the performance for $25.

Best known for his decade-long appearance in lead role of the Tony Award-winning musical “The Phantom of the Opera,” D’Ambrosio also performed the Academy Award-winning theme song “Speak Softly Love” as the opera singing son of Michael Corleone in “Godfather III.”
He studied under the late Luciano Pavarotti, was picked by Barry Manilow to play the male lead in the pre-Broadway tour of “Copacabana” and earned two GRAMMY considerations for “Best Male Vocalist” (1999) and “Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album” (2005).
