MUNSTER | Residents interested in serving on various town boards are invited to apply through the clerk-treasurer’s office.
“We encourage the public to serve on these boards,” said Town Council President David Nellans at last week's council meeting.
Those boards with members’ terms expiring on Dec. 31 include the Board of Zoning Appeals, the Board of Safety that oversees police and fire departments, the Park Board and MUNCAB that oversees Munster Cable TV programming.
Applications are available online at www.ci.munster.in.us/ or can be picked up at the office of Dave Shafer, Munster clerk-treasurer.
The completed applications should be submitted to Shafer’s office, Nellans said.
