MUNSTER | Tickets are now available for a charity softball game between the Munster Police and Fire Departments set for May 19 at Community Park.

The game, which begins at 1 p.m., will benefit Munster’s Cancer Resource Centre. It includes a performance of the national anthem by a Munster High School student, music, a 50/50 raffle, and more.

Concessions will also be available, and youngsters attending the game will be provided with stickers to show their support for the  departments.

Tickets must be purchased in advance. Checks should be made payable to Cancer Resource Centre and on the memo line note that it is Charity Softball Tickets.

Tickets are available three ways:

• By sending $5  for each ticket to the Munster Police Department, c/o Officer James Ghrist, 1001 Ridge Road, Munster, IN 46321. Tickets will be mailed to your address.

• In the front lobby of the Munster Police Department (1001 Ridge Road, dispatch window)

• At the Cancer Resource Centre (926 Ridge Road) during regular business hours.
