MUNSTER | A ruptured gas service line to a home was repaired Tuesday in about 1.5 hours, a NIPSCO official said.
The service line ruptured at the site of sewer main repairs in Munster, said Larry Graham, NIPSCO spokesman.
The incident occurred just before 9 a.m. in the 8300 block of Columbia Avenue.
All repairs were complete by 10:30 a.m. and gas service was restored to the resident, Graham said.
No injuries were reported as a result of the leak.
