MUNSTER | The Calumet Numismatic Club of Lake County, with the assistance of the Central States Numismatic Society, recently donated 27 books about coins and paper money to the Munster branch of the Lake County Public Library.

A nameplate reading "Donated by the Calumet Numismatic Club" has been added to each of the books, and they are available to all patrons with a valid library card throughout the 13 branches of the Lake County library system.

The Central State Numismatic Club offers a reimbursement program to member clubs purchasing books as donations.

The Calumet club, founded in 1939, meets at 6 p.m. on the third Wednesday of the month at the Munster branch library, 8701 Calumet Ave., and visitors are always welcome.

For more information, contact the club at: Calumet Numismatic Club, P.O. Box 171, Schererville, IN 46375.
