MUNSTER | Joseph Simonetto will lead the five-member Town Council as president during 2013.
The political newcomer, who began his four-year term in January 2012, was elected by fellow council members at the Dec. 28 meeting.
Simonetto served 10 years on the Munster Board of Zoning Appeals prior to being elected in November 2011 to his first council term. He has been a Munster resident since 1971.
