MUNSTER | The Munster Police Department and School Town of Munster hosted the annual Snowflurry event recently at Wilbur Wright Middle School.
The activity, an extension of the police department’s Drug Abuse Resistance Education program, had its highest participation ever this year with more than 260 Munster fifth-grade students guided by more than 160 Munster High School student volunteers.
"The event includes a variety of fun activities aimed at drug prevention and treating others with respect," said Munster Police Department DARE Officer James Ghrist. "The Munster Police Department would like to thank the many students, teachers, principals, and parents who participated this year."
