Movies in the Park mimics drive-in
MUNSTER | The Munster Parks and Recreation Department offers Movies in the Park from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Centennial Park Entertainment Stage, 901 N. Centennial Drive. "Back to the Future" will be shown. To give it a drive-in feeling, guests should bring a box big enough to sit in and decorations will be provided for this special drive-in movie. Concessions and a bounce house will be available.
Health fair offers screenings for men

Hometown Festival Days kicks off
CROWN POINT | Crossroads Regional Chamber of Commerce kicks off its Hometown Festival Days with a corn roast from 4 to 11 p.m. on the downtown square. The roast continues from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday. There is also a Dollie Parade at 11 a.m. June 16, a Food & Arts Festival from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. June 20 and 21 and marriage-vow renewal at 6 p.m. June 20.
