MUNSTER | Times tour director Nicole Certa has hosted dozens of community schools, organizations, clubs, etc., in the past couple months.
"I really enjoy giving them and I try and make the tour very interactive," said Certa. "I just love the faces on the kids when they see the press working and they are usually in awe by the size of the paper rolls and how high they are stacked."
Tours take guests through the newsroom, advertising, production, sign shop, commercial press and print departments and provide them with a sample of day to day operations at the Munster facility.
"When I ask them about how many papers we print each day, their answers are hilarious because they range from 20 to millions," added Certa. "The Times is a fascinating place and it's great to see individuals appreciated what we do every day to get the news distributed."
