LANSING | Today's Lance Cpl. Philip J. Martini Memorial Benefit is expected to raise funds to help U.S. Marines and their families.

Sponsored by the family and friends of the Lansing Marine who died in Iraq five years ago, the second annual benefit is scheduled from 3 p.m. to midnight at J.J. Kelley’s Restaurant & Pub, 2455 Bernice Road, Lansing.

Proceeds will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project and The Heart of a Marine Foundation.
