The Jared Tomich Halo of Hope Foundation has teamed up with local Buffalo Wild Wings locations this month in support of the Hoops for Halos Donation Program.
Buffalo Wild Wings franchise owner Michael Ansley, of Diversified Restaurant Holdings Inc., and his team have selected Halo of Hope as its charity of choice for their pin-up program. Hoops for Halos will run through March.
At the end of the meal, customers can round up their bill, or donate a few dollars in support of the Halo of Hope Foundation. Customers who donate will receive a “Hoops for Halos” pin-up to sign and place on the wall of Buffalo Wild Wings for the month. The second way to donate is through donation boxes at the front of each restaurant location, including Schererville, Crown Point, Hobart, and Valparaiso in Indiana, and Lincoln Park, Homewood, Calumet City and Lansing in Illinois.
All proceeds will go directly to Halo of Hope Foundation, founded by local, retired NFL player Jared Tomich. The nonprofit foundation is devoted to impacting the lives of children and families faced with pediatric cancers and/or blood disorder illnesses.
