SCHERERVILLE | During American Heart Month, Boston’s Restaurant & Sports Bar and Community Healthcare System’s cardiovascular research program have teamed up to raise funds and awareness regarding heart disease.
Treat your sweetheart to a night out and play a part in life-saving research at the same time.
Heart disease is Northwest Indiana’s leading cause of death. Through the Community Healthcare System Cardiovascular Research program, Community Hospital in Munster, St. Catherine Hospital in East Chicago and St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart offer Northwest Indiana and south suburban Chicago residents new treatment options available only through clinical trials and studies.
Boston’s, 625 W. U.S. 30, will donate $1 to the cardiovascular research program of Community Healthcare System for every pizza and flatbread sold during Pizza Week, through Sunday.
Boston’s signature heart-shaped pizzas also will be available through Friday. And, the restaurant will donate $1 with every Red Velvet Cheesecake® dessert ordered from the menu.
Diners and their guests also have the option to purchase paper hearts for $1 each during the “Spread the Love” campaign which runs through Sunday.
