SCHERERVILLE | A Christkindlmarket will be open from 4 to 7 p.m. Nov. 23 at Town Hall, 10 E. Joliet St.
Holiday treats, crafts and roasted chestnuts are among items that will be available at the event, which is hosted by the town and the Schererville Chamber of Commerce. Musical entertainment will be provided.
Santa will arrive at 5 p.m. at Town Hall.
Vendors interested in participating in the event can contact the town's park office at (219) 865-5530 for applications.
Market space is free.
