SCHERERVILLE | A 31-year-old St. John man is accused of using another person's debit card to make purchases at several area businesses.
Police said a person lost a wallet containing the debit card at a Schererville tobacco shop.
After it was lost, Terry Kilburn allegedly used the debit card to make purchases at businesses in Schererville, Dyer and Highland. Video surveillance showed Kilburn making the purchases at the businesses, police said.
Kilburn was charged Wednesday with forgery, theft, four counts of fraud and four counts of identity deception.
