The Town of Schererville is proud to present a summer concert with the Northwest

Indiana Symphony at Redar Park (217 Gregory Street). Bring a lawn chair and

enjoy a great evening of music.

Corn Roast

Friday, July 26

4 p.m. – 8 p.m. • Redar Park

The Schererville Chamber of Commerce will be holding the 50th Annual Corn

Roast, the longest running corn roast in Lake County. The fee includes all you

can eat grilled corn with one polish sausage or hot dog and a can of pop. There will be

entertainment, vendor booths, a beer garden, music and more!

Touch-A-Truck

Saturday, August 3

Has your child ever asked to see a fire truck, garbage truck, or front-end

loader?

This is your chance to bring your child to our Touch-A-Truck program. You will

the opportunity to touch, see inside, and maybe even climb through various ‘big’

trucks. This is a FREE event!

National Night Out

Tuesday, August 6

6 p.m. – 9 p.m. • Redar Park

The Schererville Police Department will be hosting the 9th annual

National Night Out. This event is designed to bring businesses and residents

together with law enforcements for the purpose of crime awareness and

prevention. There will be FREE food, music, children’s games and many other

activities.

So leave your porch light on and come join us for an evening of fun!

Country-A-Fair & Storytelling Festival

Saturday, September 28

11 a.m. – 4 p.m. • Redar Park

Coming this fall, a one-day event full of activities, crafts, produce, games,

food and

fun! Children and adults will enjoy shopping, toe-tapping music, petting zoo and

a paper plane contest. New this year is the storytelling

tent for all ages sponsored by the Northwest Indiana Storytelling Guild. Amateur

tellers are invited to join the Liar’s bench competition or open mike. Can you

stump

the audience?

11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Music in performance tent

11 a.m. - Noon Storytelling Workshop

1 p.m. Paper Plane Contest
