SCHERERVILLE | Watson Elementary School is hosting Lasermania at 1 p.m. Feb. 20 at the school, 333 W. 77th Ave.
The program congratulates staff and students and celebrate two state of Indiana achievements.
Watson was designated an Indiana four star school and also earned a letter grade of A, meaning exemplary performance based on Indiana's A-F accountability model.
Watson is the only Lake Central School Corp. elementary school to achieve this honor three years in a row.
Letter grades for elementary schools are based upon English/language arts and math ISTEP+ performance, participation and improvement as well as student growth.
Lasermania is a high-energy reward assembly with laser shows set to positively-themed, rock/pop music.
