ST. JOHN | Culvert replacement work will temporarily disrupt traffic flow on a portion of U.S. 41 in St. John.
The $1.04 million Indiana Department of Transportation project expected to get underway soon will replace a deteriorating culvert beneath U.S. 41, south of 106th Lane and north of 109th Avenue.
Traffic will be down to one lane in each direction at times between early April and mid-May, officials said. Exact dates for lane closures were not yet available.
Town water and sewer lines will be relocated to accommodate the project. The cost to the town for relocation of the utility lines is about $92,500, town officials said.
