ST. JOHN | On Nov. 6, teachers and staff at St. John the Evangelist School observed Veteran’s Day and honored America's Military Heroes by dressing down as part of “Jeans for Troops Day". This program is organized by the GI Go Fund which is an organization that assists our returning Veterans with the transition back to civilian life, by providing employment and educational opportunities. To participate, schools collect $5 donations from willing teachers and staff to benefit the GI Go Fund.

The St. John the Evangelist school staff collected over $130. SJE is proud to reach out to our community and those in need in addition to using this opportunity to show our students the importance of our military and our Veterans.
