CROWN POINT | The Pantry on the Go stops from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Lake County Fairgrounds Shelter 1, 889 S. Court St. Free grains, fruits, vegetables, dairy and protein will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last for those in need of food assistance. Family fishing event on tap

HOBART | Families with children under 12 are invited to Friends of Robinson Lake's fourth annual Family Fun Fishing Event from 9 a.m. to noon at Robinson Lake City Park, 5250 S. Liverpool Road. This event includes a craft, dip netting, fish anatomy, water testing and practice with backyard bass. Children will need a parent or guardian with them. There will be a limited number of rods and reels to borrow, but bring your own if possible. Bait will be provided. Indiana DNR allows adults to fish without a license this weekend, though other fishing rules apply. Poker run to help patient

Tour de Highland at new site

The event will stock the crisis center and mobile unit with items for the hundreds of children the center supports each year.
