WHITING | The Northwest Indiana Sports and Entertainment Inc. holds its inaugural beer fest from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday inside Oil City Stadium.

It includes a variety of brews, live entertainment and food from local vendors.

General admission is $30; VIP passes are $50, but if bought in advance, a $5 discount will be applied. VIP ticket holders will be allowed entrance an hour before gates open and will be able to sample beers and enjoy free food.

Guests must be at least 21.
