WHITING | The Whiting City Council and the Board of Public Works and Safety have switched their meeting dates because of the election.

The council will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at City Hall, 1443 119th St.

The Board of Public Works and Safety meets at 9 a.m. Wednesday in the conference room at City Hall.
