WINFIELD | The town of Winfield held a Christmas party for children in need on Sunday.

The Lakes of the Four Seasons Volunteer Fire Department was asked to join the Town of Winfield and Winfield Township to help them host the annual party for children from throughout community. The fire department helped Santa arrive and hand out gifts. They also let the children see the trucks up close. It was a great turnout and an afternoon well spent by the many volunteers that put it all together, a department spokesman said.
